#VeryVegetarian Challenge

We got together with our friends at OXO to sponsor a blogger cook off extravaganza, called the #VeryVegetarian challenge! While the competition was fierce (check out all the entries here), we had to narrow it down to 4 winners in the end.

Meet the bloggers who will now go down in Plated + OXO infamy!

A Family Feast – Fall Harvest Vegetarian Corn and Butternut Chowder

Jack and Martha Pesa are the co-creators behind A Family Feast, a food blog with delicious recipes for everyday meals and special occasions. Many of our recipes are inspired by New England coastal living, as well as time-tested family recipes passed down through generations. We believe that preparing a great meal is one of the best ways to show love and caring to family and friends, and we love sharing our recipes and tips with our readers as well!

Wonky Wonderful – Gluten Free Vegetarian Pumpkin Quinoa Bowl

Wonky Wonderful is a food and recipe site with Simply Delicious, Mostly Nutritious recipes. A balance of indulgent desserts and healthy meals that the entire family will enjoy! Nicole Harris is the writer, recipe developer and photographer. She is your average food obsessed gal, always thinking about the next tasty bite!

She is the voice behind her blog, Barbara Cooks, where she shares her original recipes and daily musings about life with her Austrian-born husband and crazy cat, Roxy. Christina’s Cucina – Potato Goat Cheese Cakes with European Salad and Balsamic Vinaigrette
Christina is an Scottish born Italian who now lives in California. She has been cooking and baking with a passion since she was 7 years old, and her zeal for good, healthy and delicious food is what drives her to encourage others into their own kitchens. Christina believes natural, simple and unprocessed ingredients are best, but in some cases “everything in moderation” is not only justified, but necessary (did we mention she has a sweet tooth)? You can find her flurry of food photos, and her latest blogging conquests at Christinas Cucina.
