We here at Plated love guacamole—shocking, we know. And we love-love bacon. And we’re always not-so-secretly sprinkling red pepper flakes into our recipes. So naturally, we went ahead and combined the three to form this perfect mixture of spice, bacon, and—of course—guac. 4 strips of bacon
¼ cup diced onion
¼ cup chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
1. Fry up some bacon.
We cooked four strips on medium heat until crispy, but you can make as much as you like.
2. In a medium bowl, peel and remove pits from three avocados then add juice of one fresh lime.
3. Add onion, cilantro, chili powder, and red pepper flakes to taste. Then mix it all evenly.
4. Grab your favorite tortilla chips, and guac your socks off.
