This No-Cook Oatmeal Is An Easy Make-Ahead Breakfast

Also known as “overnight oats,” no-cook oatmeal is an easy, flavor-packed, make-ahead breakfast of rolled oats, milk, and just about any other ingredients you’d like to add. Our tasty yet nutritious recipe below is filled with the antioxidants of blueberries, the fiber of chia seeds, and the sweetness of brown sugar. Whatever ingredients you choose, throw them all together in a jar, shake it up, and pop it in the fridge the night before. You’ll have a fantastic grab-and-go breakfast waiting for you in the morning.

Serves: 1
Total time: 6 hours (10-minute prep + overnight chill)

3/4 cup non-fat milk
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 cup blueberries
1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash of cinnamon

1. Pour in oats.

2. Add blueberries, almonds, chia seeds, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

3. Add milk.

4. Shake the jar until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed—about 20 seconds.

5. Place the jar in the fridge overnight or for at least six hours.

6. Remove from the fridge, and enjoy your delicious no-cook oatmeal!
