Feed a Crowd with This Customizable Tartine Recipe

Although it may seem ultra fancy, tartine is just a more elegant word for a delicious open-faced sandwich. They also happen to be super fun to put together and endlessly customizable, making them the perfect treat to feed a crowd. Simply lay out the different ingredients by group and let your guests assemble their own sammies. The ideas below are just suggestions to play with, so feel free to put your own spin on this delectable sandwich.

Pick your Base

First things first: the bread. Thinly slice and toast your favorite type, and if you’re not sure what’ll work best, start with these options:

Add a Spread

Whether store bought or homemade, any of these creamy options will work wonderfully.
