      Prepare Ingredients

      Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut brioche bun into ½-inch cubes. In a large bowl, whisk together 1 egg and vanilla extract and set aside. Allow mascarpone to soften slightly at room temperature. 

    2. Make Espresso Cream

      Make Espresso Cream

      In a small pot over medium-high heat, combine heavy cream, granulated sugar, espresso powder, ¼ cup milk, and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved and liquid is hot but not boiling and small bubbles appear on the surface, about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Save remaining milk for morning coffee. 

    3. Make Custard and Soak Brioche

      Make Custard and Soak Brioche

      Whisking continuously, slowly add espresso cream to bowl with egg, until combined. Add brioche cubes and half of chocolate chips to bowl with custard and stir gently to combine. Set aside and allow to soak for 5-10 minutes. While your bread soaks, get a head start on cleaning!

    4. Bake Bread Pudding

      Bake Bread Pudding

      Divide soaked bread evenly between aluminum tins, pouring over any remaining custard from bowl, and place on a baking sheet. Bake until brioche is slightly crisp and custard is firm, 20-25 minutes.

    5. Make Mascarpone Cream

      Make Mascarpone Cream

      While bread pudding bakes, in a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and mascarpone until smooth and fully combined. 

    6. Plate Tiramisu Bread Pudding

      Plate Tiramisu Bread Pudding

      Divide tiramisu bread pudding between bowls and dollop over mascarpone cream. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and serve warm. Achieve bread pudding bliss.
