I took out the jalapenos because I don't like spicy. Also, the watermelon seemed to have fermented so I replaced it with pink lady apples.

Roasted corn, jalapeno and watermelon? At first I was confused and then I was blown away. I had never made corn in the oven before, and I will definitely use this method in the future. The mix of spicy from the jalapeno, the sweetness of the watermelon and corn and the different textures were incredible. By far my favorite salad from plated. Plated taught me that cooking delicious meals does not have to involve obscure ingredients and cooking methods. Great job plated, great job

The potato crust was awesome! I'll definitely use this on other fish. Liked the watermelon corn combo as well

I didn't particularly like the watermelon...it wasn't sweet and tasted like it had gotten old. Everything else tasted great...

If you're cooking this alone, do all the prep work at the very beginning. The cooking goes too quickly to do much of anything in between.

Prompt delivery & great packaging. Simple ingredients though I would've enjoyed more than 3 potatoes v. the over abundance of potato flakes. Dish was overall easy to prepare & decent.

My favorite plated dish EVER! Only thing I would change is have you send less potato flakes. I had a lot left over. Fish was crispy and delicious, salad was sweet and tangy. Loved it!

I was preparing 4 plates. It came with 2 bags of potato flakes and I only used 1.
Also, I baked the fish instead of frying. It was great.

I recently dined at a great little restaurant in the west village whose menu was packed with seasonal ingredients. I was so inspired by one of their specials that I wrote this recipe using many of the same ingredients, just slightly simplified. This flavorful dish is a great way to celebrate summer!
