The only thing better than a brownie? A peanut butter brownie. In this fabulous take on the classic chocolate dessert, brownie batter is swirled with creamy peanut butter and baked to gooey, decadent perfection. We love the marbled appearance of these treats...for the 5 seconds before they’re all gone.

    Cooking Steps

      Prepare Ingredients

      Preheat oven to 375°F. Using 1 teaspoon butter, grease inside of aluminum tin, reshaping if bent. Place peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 30-second intervals until smooth and pourable. Set aside.

    2. Make Brownie Batter

      Make Brownie Batter

      Place remaining butter in a separate medium heatproof bowl and microwave, or heat over low heat in a small pot, until just melted, about 30 seconds. Stir sugar into melted butter until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and 1 egg. In a large bowl, whisk together baking powder, flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture to fully combine. 

    3. Assemble Brownies

      Assemble Brownies

      Place tin on a baking sheet and pour brownie batter into tin. Dollop small spoonfuls of peanut butter evenly over brownie batter. Using a knife, swirl peanut butter and brownie mixture together to create a marbled pattern. 

    4. Bake Brownies

      Bake Brownies

      Transfer baking sheet to oven, and bake until brownie center is set, 16-18 minutes. 

    5. Plate Brownies

      Remove brownies from oven and set aside to cool for a few minutes. Slice into squares, then carefully remove from tin. Enjoy warm or at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
