Seared Mediterranean chicken sausage made with black olives and sundried tomatoes comes from D’Artagnan—a premium Northeast charcuterie vendor. Combined with hearty broccolini and seasonal sweet potatoes as well as locally sourced yellow onions and mushrooms, this stir-fry dish gets its flavor boost from fragrant basil and a medley of dried Italian spices.

    Peel onion, halve, and thinly slice. Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel and roughly chop caps, discarding stems. Rinse remaining produce. Slice broccolini crosswise into 2-inch pieces. Quarter sweet potato and thinly slice crosswise. Halve tomatoes. Tear basil leaves into bite-size pieces, discarding stems. Pat sausage dry with paper towel and cut on a diagonal into 1-inch slices.

    Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. When oil is shimmering, add sausage in a single layer and cook until browned on outside and cooked through, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry Sweet Potato

    Stir-Fry Sweet Potato

    Wipe pan from sausage clean and add 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. When oil is shimmering, add sweet potato and cook, stirring, until golden and almost tender, 5-6 minutes.
  4. Stir-Fry Vegetables

    Add onion, mushrooms, broccolini, and 1 tablespoon olive oil to pan with sweet potato over medium-high heat. Season with ½ teaspoon kosher salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, until vegetables are tender, 4-5 minutes.
  5. Season Stir-Fry

    Add spice mix, tomatoes, and sausage to pan with vegetables and cook, stirring, until warmed through, about 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Add basil and stir to wilt. Taste and add more salt and pepper as needed.
