Make apple-raspberry filling
In a small bowl, whisk together applesauce and raspberry preserves to combine. Rub 1 teaspoon canola oil inside aluminum tin, reshaping if bent. Set aside for Step 4.
Make oat crumble
To bowl with melted butter, add oats, flour, light brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon salt and stir to combine. Add 1 egg and stir until well combined.
Assemble apple-raspberry crumble
Add half of oat mixture to tin and, using your fingers or a fork, press into an even layer, being sure to fill edges and corners of tin. Add apple-raspberry filling and spread in an even layer. Crumble over remaining oat mixture to cover filling.
Bake apple-raspberry crumble
Place tin on a baking sheet and bake until crumble is golden brown, 20-25 minutes. (Use this time to get ahead on dishes or relax and enjoy the sweet smells filling your kitchen.) Once baked, place tin in refrigerator to cool at least 20 minutes, or set aside at room temperature until completely cooled so it's easier to slice.
Plate apple-raspberry crumble bars
Once cooled, cut apple-raspberry oat crumble into 8 bars. Enjoy!
