Our menu this week features saag paneer with garlic naan, so we thought we’d show you something else you can make with naan: breakfast pizza.
It tastes amazing. We’d say, “Trust us,” but you don’t have to. You can easily make this for yourself. Just check out the video!
3/4 cup butternut squash pasta sauce
1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese
4-6 thinly sliced onion rings
1 teaspoon olive oil
1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet on medium heat and fry up onions with a pinch of salt until translucent. Then place them aside.
2. On a skillet under medium heat, cook the naan lightly on both sides.
3. Then place the naan on a baking sheet, spoon sauce on top, and cover with the cheese and fried onions. Then crack an egg on top. When the oven reaches 500 degrees, put in your baking sheet.
4. Bake the pizza for 4 to 5 minutes, then rotate it 180 degrees and bake another 4 to 5 minutes. It’s done when the cheese is melted and the egg is cooked to your liking. Season the egg with salt and pepper. Garnish with scallions.
