Whether you’re celebrating because you’ve handed in your taxes, or simply need a drink because you’re scrambling to finish, you’re in luck. We’re sharing the recipe for a classic mint julep for a splashy end to close out tax day.
3 sprigs fresh mint, divided
1 tablespoon simple syrup
¼ cup Black Maple Hill bourbon
julep or highball glass
Rinse mint sprigs and place 2 in a julep or highball glass along with simple syrup, swirling to muddle. Fill glass ⅔ of the way up with crushed ice. Pour over bourbon, then add more crushed ice. Garnish with remaining mint sprig. Cheers!
