Tahini Honey Butter > Regular Butter

Bread without butter is pretty much a travesty in our books. Same goes for pancakes, scones, and other breakfast treats. Recently, Plated Chef Shanna clued us into one of her cheffy secrets—our butter can get better. How? Add some sweetness, and then some saltiness; we’re talking honey and tahini. This summer, whether you’re hosting friends out at the beach or enjoying a relaxing morning at home, take your toast—or fruit or waffles—to new heights with this supremely satisfying butter. (It would probably be a solid gift for all occasions, too.)

1 stick unsalted butter
1/3 cup tahini
2 tablespoons honey

In a medium bowl, melt the butter. Mix in tahini, honey, cinnamon, and salt until combined. Transfer to a fridge-safe container with a lid. If you’re hoping to indulge right away, let chill for at least 30 minutes in the fridge to solidify.
