What We’re Ordering From Plated’s July Menu

Summer is in full swing and that means our menus are filled with seasonal favorites, fresh produce, and dishes to help you make the most out of whatever your days hold. Here’s a sneak peek into some of our July favorites and the dishes we’ll be adding to our boxes this month.

Family Friendly

Turkey Burgers on Multigrain Buns
There’s a new burger in town. These Turkey Burgers get dressed up with a tangy, creamy roasted red pepper sauce and served on a multigrain bun for a touch of sweetness and an oaty crunch. Keep the Independence Day celebrations going long after the fourth and order these burgers on our menu from July 7-13.

Flounder Milanese
Our favorite way to prepare almost anything—breaded, shallow-fried, and crispy. This Flounder Milanese gets paired with a super summery salad full of sweet corn, grape tomatoes, and feta. Add our Flounder Milanese to your box the week of July 14-20!

Sesame Chicken
This takeout-style dish will have you saying goodbye to delivery. Prepare to be mindblown—our Sesame Chicken served with mini peppers, snow peas, and scallion rice comes together in just 30 minutes. Look out for this family friendly dinner on the menu from July 28-August 3.

Zucchini Fritters
Zucchini is one of our favorite summer crops so we made them the star of these pan-crisped fritters. We combine the veg with feta, dill, and chickpea flour, serve them alongside a red quiona, and tomato salad, and finish the dish with a dill-spiked sour cream sauce. These Zucchini Fritters are on the menu from July 7-13 and are perfect for entertaining.

Italian Cheeseburgers
Continue the summer burger tour with a fun twist on your usual cheeseburger. This Italian version opts for fresh mozzarella, crusty ciabatta buns, and pesto-dressed arugula. We serve them with a summer take on Caprese and a drizzle of tangy-sweet balsamic glaze. Let us take care of the party planning and add these Italian Cheeseburgers to your box the week of July 7-13.

Grilled Steak Fajitas
We fully embrace grilling season with these summery steak fajitas, complete with charred onions and blistered peppers. Order our steak fajitas for your next soirée—set up a DIY fajita bar with warm tortillas, a platter of grilled steak and peppers, and chimichurri to drizzle. These fajitas are on the menu the week of July 14-20.

Test Kitchen Favorites

Tahini Chicken Caesar
We love a classic Caesar, but we’re currently obsessed with this Middle Eastern twist. Here, we chef up the salad with a tahini and miso-based dressing that’s just as creamy as the original. It’s tossed with kale, radish, and shredded chicken, then topped with za’atar-spiced roasted carrots, toasted sunflower seeds, and Parm. Add it to your box for the week of July 14-20.

Chickpea Saag
This vegetarian dish has comfort food written all over it. Traditional Indian saag gets a modern update with warmed feta and hearty chickpeas. A blend of aromatic spices like cardamom, coriander, ginger, and garlic combine with spinach to create a rich, bright sauce. Get cooking with our Chickpea Saag on the menu from July 21-27.

Korean Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Pizza + Korean barbecue? Yup, we went there. Bulgogi spiced-shredded chicken is scattered over a crust with melty mozzarella, sweet corn, and scallion, plus kimchi and sesame seeds for garnish. A drizzle of our sweet and spicy gochujang-tomato sauce finishes the dish. Order this pie for your next pizza party, available July 21-27.

Don’t Forget Dessert

Nectarine Crumble
In the Plated Test Kitchen, we’re all about seasonal fruit crumbles any time of year. For summer, we use juicy nectarines, tossed with brown sugar and cinnamon and topped with a pecan-studded streusel. Don’t forget a dollop of our beloved whipped sour cream. Get ready to celebrate with this dessert—it’s on the menu from June 30-July 13.

S’mores Pies
Who needs a campfire to enjoy s’mores when you have these gooey, melty, mini pies. We fill crumbly graham cracker crusts with rich dark chocolate ganache, top with mini marshmallows, and bake to prime gooeyness. Add our s’mores pies to your box ASAP, they’re on the menu from June 30-July 13.

No-Churn Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream
We never say no to homemade ice cream. Our classic no-churn ice cream goes chocolately with cocoa powder and dark chocolate bits, plus a garnish of graham cracker crumbs and chile-infused honey. You need this ice cream in your life—look for it on our menu from July 28-August 10.
