Forget Store-Bought. Shake Up Your Own Jam Jar Salad Dressing Instead

Versatile, sweet, and super spreadable, there’s a lot to love about jam. And even after you’ve made your way through a jarful, you can reuse the jar! One of our favorite ways to recycle jam jars? Salad dressing. It’s just the right size for mixing and shaking up ingredients—plus you can just return the lid and put what you don’t use back in the fridge. Now that’s what we call a win-win…win.

You’ll Need
1 empty jam jar (raspberry or apricot)

Ingredients
2 tablespoons champagne vinegar
5-6 tablespoons olive oil
1-2 teaspoons mustard
1 minced shallot
Salad greens
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in your jam jar and shake.
