Corn-on-the-Cob
with a twist of basil

What says summer more than sweet corn? It’s a home cooked classic, an essential pairing with our favorite comfort foods. We love this easy recipe for corn on the cob – the basil butter is a great way to add a little “something extra” with only a couple seconds extra work in the kitchen!

Basil Butter Corn

  • 2 ears corn, shucked
  • 10 basil leaves, washed and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper

Bring a pot of water to boil. Add the corn and cook until tender and bright yellow, about 2 minutes. Meanwhile, chop the basil. Microwave the butter and basil until melted, 5-10 seconds. Rub the corn with basil butter and season with salt and pepper.
