4 Spins on a Sweet Treat That Will Leave You Wanting S’more

Not that we need to justify wanting to eat s’mores during the summer, but today happens to be National S’more Day, giving us the perfect excuse. While you can’t go wrong with the classic graham cracker, marshmallow, chocolate combination, we’re mixing things up with four creative variations of the favorite campfire treat. No fire pit? Recipe Ingredients

Strawberry Shortcake S’more
Biscuit
Strawberries
Marshmallow
White chocolate

Elvis S’more
Marshmallow
Graham cracker
Banana
Peanut butter
Bacon
Chocolate

Cookie S’more
Chocolate chip cookies
Marshmallows
Nutella
Caramel and sea salt or salted caramel sauce

Mexican Hot Chocolate S’more
Very Dark Chocolate
Graham Cracker
Marshmallow
Cayenne

Instructions

Strawberry Shortcake S’more:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit/broil and thinly slice strawberries
2. Toast biscuits with sliced strawberries cut-side up
3. Add white chocolate squares and marshmallow and return to oven until gooey and melty
4. Top with more sliced strawberries and sandwich together

 

Instructions

Elvis S’more

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit/broil and mash banana in a bowl
2. Fry bacon in a large pan
3. Layer half of graham cracker with mashed banana, and other half of slices with chocolate, then marshmallow
4. Place in oven until marshmallow is gooey and chocolate is melted
5. Top banana side with bacon and sandwich together

Instructions

Cookie S’more:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit/broil
2. Place cookies flat-side up on baking and slather with Nutella, top with marshmallow
3. Place in oven until marshmallow is toasted and gooey
4. Sandwich s’mores and drizzle tops with salted caramel sauce

Instructions

Mexican Hot Chocolate S’more:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit/broil
2. Top graham crackers with (unmelted) dark chocolate squares and marshmallow
3. Place in oven until marshmallow is toasted and gooey
4. Sandwich with graham cracker and enjoy!
