Char Siu Pork Buns

Char Siu Pork Buns with Garlic-Cashew Broccolini

On the menu Oct 13 — Oct 19

Recipe Details

Char siu is a sticky barbecue pork dish. The char siu bao from your favorite Chinese bakery can take more than a day to make (what with marinating and cooking the meat, making the dough, and steaming the buns), so Chef Liz has captured all of the sweet-savory flavors in pizza dough pockets, with toasted sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Each bun tastes like it came right off the dim sum cart, without the trials of more traditional recipes.
